Ride with Style! How do you create a board that has it all - Acceleration, Speed, Jumping, Carving, Smooth Riding and Control? It is not easy to make such a versatile design, but Mark Nelson has achieved it. The front part of the Style delivers impressive speed and acceleration (WINDSURF UK Magazine), due to the fast scoop rocker line taken from our Mistral Syncro RD freemove Board. The rear half of the Style is based very much on the waveboard features of our popular Mistral Wave RD waveboard; thin rails, double concave into vee and an increased rocker for smooth carving, control and excellent jumping skills. The result is pure synergy.

Hello, I bought this board in spring 2010 and think it's optimal sail size is anything between a 4.7 and 6.2. I have been sailing it with a 6.6 but that felt a bit big for me. I haven't tried it with a 4.0 but with my weight, 75 kg, I think there will be to much wind to keep the board under control. I have sailed the board both in waves around 2.5 meter and on flatwater and I think it performs very well in all kinds of conditions. It is not the quickest to plan but it does accelerate fast ones power upp. Ones upp and going it feels comfortable under feet and you'll will have a lot of control. This both in a straight line as in turns, without being boring. It's upwind abilities are good as long as you are powered up (17+ knt), where the board (also in general) is more in it's comfort zone. It's turns very short if you want it to be and it gibes very easy as well. I will advise you to use serveral finns with it. I use a 24 wave fin, 18&22 freestyle fins and a 28 freestyle-wave fin. All in all I think it is a very allround board with great control. Not an expert, but good in a lot of different conditions. If you can get your hands on the RD version it will be worth the price.
