| It is possible that I haven't yet adjusted to the twin fin way and will begin to love this board, but as of now I regret purchasing the tempo. This is mainly because I don't like the way it bottom turns which is to say that it really lacks grip. Its ok for small waves when your bottom turn is more of a quick hook, but once the waves get anything bigger than overhead and you get some real speed down the line the bottom turn feels like it feels when you spin out turning a single fin. In my opinion this is a good board for small on-shore waves and a very good bump and jump board as it sails incredibly controlled and flat when way overpowered. It feels very balanced and is great in a straight line. It also planes up quick and sails well upwind which was a pleasant surprise as I had heard that twins are horrid pointers. For jumping it is OK. It is a bit heavy (notice that quatro don't post their weights) and I feel sometimes that it doesn't really want to fly in the air. I'm going to keep trying to unlock the secrets of this thing in the waves. If I discover what got it the amazing review in Boardseeker I will try to change my review. | ||
