The X.O booms are made out of the highest aluminium quality available, with both the SX-500, and 700 produced with identical bending curves. This modern curve with its wide front, allowing a long straight arm provides a lot more stability at all sailing angles. The SX-500 is our 3 part boom, easy and affordable yet with great performance, being among the stiffest on the market. The SX-700 is a world class monocoque aluminium boom with stiffness comparable to carbon booms. The SX-1000 is our top of the line creation. We have paid a lot of attention to achieve max stiffness and minimum weight still with the ultimate wide curve. A new reference on the market.
