The OverDrive is optimised for reaching performance where speed is not compromised for a user friendly feel for everyday blasting. The OverDrive promotes innovative rig ergonomics which have resulted in a sail that is faster for many sailors than a traditional race sail due to the ease of use. A narrower luff sleevewith the neoprene closure discourages water from entering the luff kepping the sail light for easier waterstarting and uphauling and the snap on roller cams make rigging simple. Developing this sail to perform on lower carbon content masts and avoiding fragile components such as carbon tube battens has increased the durability whilst decreasing the cost of ownership.
